Son La and Phu Tho have increased the price of live pigs by 2,000 VND/kg.
In the Central region, most provinces and cities have increased the price of live pigs by 1,000 VND/kg. In Hue alone, the price of live pigs increased by VND 2,000/kg to VND 57,000/kg. Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Lam Dong are the 3 provinces with the highest live pig prices in the region, at 59,000 VND/kg.
In the Southern region, the price of live pigs today is flat in most provinces and cities, ranging from 59,000 - 60,000 VND/kg. Ho Chi Minh City alone has increased the price of live pigs by VND 1,000/kg, up to VND 59,000/kg, equal to the prices of Dong Nai, An Giang, Vinh Long, Can Tho. Tay Ninh and Dong Thap have live pig prices at 60,000 VND/kg.
