Products of unknown origin, counterfeit goods, and poor quality goods if circulated on the market will seriously affect the health of consumers.
Previously, in Ia Kenh commune, Pleiku city, people discovered bags containing candy and toys suspected to be counterfeit and poor quality goods thrown along the roadside.
Inside, there are many types of candy such as mint, cinnamon, cow's milk... and plastic toys. Candy packaging is printed in Vietnamese and English, while toys are mainly labelled in Chinese. Most of the products are still new, with original stamps, showing no signs of being peeled.
Representatives of the Gia Lai Provincial Market Management Department have conducted an inspection, handled the case and proposed to destroy the goods according to regulations.
