On June 14, the People's Committee of Tu Mo Rong district said that due to the impact of storm No. 1, in addition to damage to houses, some areas of Ngoc Linh ginseng cultivation of the people were also damaged.
In Mo Za village, Ngok Lay commune, forest trees were knocked down by strong winds, dozens of Ngoc Linh ginseng trees about 1-2 years old had broken trunks and branches.

Most Ngoc Linh ginseng gardens are planted under the old forest canopy, and people regretfully collected the damaged amount of ginseng.
The authorities of the communes are making statistics on the entire affected area to have a reasonable support direction for the people.
Due to the impact of storm No. 1, rain and wind have caused many houses in Tu Mo Rong district to have their roofs blown off and damaged, facing the risk of landslides.

Communes mainly home to ethnic minorities such as Te Xang, Mang Ri, Dak Ro Ong, Dak Ha, Tu Mo Rong... all have damaged and blown-off houses.
According to statistics, Tu Mo Rong and Dak Glei districts have planted about 2,922 hectares of Ngoc Linh ginseng, reaching 65% of the target set by the Provincial Party Committee's Resolution.
