World oil price today

World oil prices are on the rise. At the end of yesterday's trading session (September 8), WTI and Brent oil prices both increased by about 0.6%.

By this morning's session, both oil products continued to move upward. At 11:12, WTI crude oil prices were at 63.22 USD/barrel, up 0.59 USD/barrel; equivalent to an increase of 0.94%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 62.63 USD/barrel and opened the weekend session at 62.73 USD/barrel.

Brent oil was at 66.97 USD/barrel, up 0.58 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.87%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 66.39 USD/barrel and opened the weekend session at 66.50 USD/barrel.

Domestic gasoline prices today

On September 10, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:

The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on September 4.

Accordingly, gasoline prices increased simultaneously, with an increase of 76 - 116 VND/liter/kg. E5RON92 gasoline price increased by 80 VND/liter, RON95-III gasoline increased by 76 VND/liter, diesel increased by 116 VND/liter, kerosene increased by 89 VND/liter, mazut increased by 116 VND/kg.

This management period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance did not set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for E5RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel, kerosene, and fuel oil.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period

According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price management period, retail prices of gasoline may have opposite adjustments in the direction of decreasing gasoline prices and increasing oil prices.

In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to decrease by about 0-50 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline decreases by about 50-100 VND/liter; Diesel increases by about 150-200 VND/liter.
