World oil price today
World oil prices are on the rise. At the end of yesterday's trading session (September 8), WTI and Brent oil prices increased by 0.92% and 1.07%, respectively.
By this morning's session, both oil products continued to trade positively. At 10:30, WTI crude oil price was at 62.56 USD/barrel, up 0.29 USD/barrel; equivalent to an increase of 0.48%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 62.26 USD/barrel and opened the weekend session at 62.43 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 66.36 USD/barrel, up 0.34 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.51%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 66.02 USD/barrel and opened the weekend session at 66.22 USD/barrel.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On September 9, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on September 4.
Accordingly, gasoline prices increased simultaneously, with an increase of 76 - 116 VND/liter/kg. E5RON92 gasoline price increased by 80 VND/liter, RON95-III gasoline increased by 76 VND/liter, diesel increased by 116 VND/liter, kerosene increased by 89 VND/liter, mazut increased by 116 VND/kg.
This management period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance did not set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for E5RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel, kerosene, and fuel oil.

The discount levels of gasoline products today, September 9, at some domestic gasoline trading enterprises are as follows:
Hoang Trong General Trading Company Limited: Hai Linh warehouse, Hai Phong: Diesel 0.05S - II: 1,450 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,400 VND/liter; Bac Ninh warehouse: Diesel 0.05S - II: 1,300 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,250; Nghi Son warehouse: Diesel 0.05S - II: 1,500 VND/liter, RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,450 VND/liter.
Tu Luc Petroleum: Discount on Diesel 0.05S-II: 1,450 VND/liter; Diesel 0.001S-V: 1,250; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,400 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,400 VND/liter.
MIPEC Petroleum: RON 95 - III Petroleum Discount: 1,300 VND/liter; Diesel 0.05S-II: 1,200 VND/liter; Diesel 0.05S: 1,550. Applicable to the Northern region.
Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price management period, retail prices of gasoline may have opposite adjustments in the direction of decreasing gasoline prices and increasing oil prices.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to decrease by about 0-100 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline decreases by about 0-150 VND/liter; Diesel increases by about 100-200 VND/liter.
