World oil price today
World oil prices today fell sharply. At 11:15 a.m., WTI crude oil price was at 61.85 USD/barrel, down 0.52 USD/barrel; equivalent to a decrease of 83%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 63.67 USD/barrel and opened the weekend session at 63.72 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 75.86 USD/barrel, down 0.51 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.77%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 66.37 USD/barrel and opened the weekend session at 66.28 USD/barrel.
Thus, world oil prices today turned around and decreased sharply. At the end of yesterday's trading session (September 11), WTI and Brent oil prices decreased by 2% and 1.7%, respectively.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On September 12, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on September 11.
Accordingly, gasoline prices decreased by 39-95 VND/liter; oil prices (excluding mazut) increased by 54-170 VND/liter. Specifically, E5RON92 gasoline price decreased by 95 VND/liter, RON95-III gasoline decreased by 39 VND/liter, diesel increased by 170 VND/liter, kerosene increased by 54 VND/liter, and mazut alone decreased by 286 VND/kg.
This management period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance did not set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for E5RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel, kerosene, and fuel oil.

According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may increase simultaneously.
