World oil price today
World oil prices are in a recovery trend after the previous sharp decline. At the end of yesterday's trading session (October 13), WTI and Brent oil prices increased by 1% and 0.9% respectively.
By this morning's session, both oil products continued to increase. At 11:10, WTI crude oil prices were at 69.71 USD/barrel, up 0.22 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.37%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 69.49 USD/barrel and opened the weekend session at 59.61 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 63.54 USD/barrel, up 0.21 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.33%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 63.32 USD/barrel and opened the weekend session at 63.38 USD/barrel.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On October 14, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on October 9.
Accordingly, gasoline prices have decreased simultaneously. E5RON92 gasoline price decreased by 486 VND/liter, RON95-III gasoline decreased by 480 VND/liter, diesel decreased by 434 VND/liter, kerosene decreased by 571 VND/liter and mazut decreased by 562 VND/kg.
This management period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance did not set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for E5RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel, kerosene, and fuel oil.

Hoang Trong General Trading Company Limited: Hai Linh warehouse, Hai Phong: Diesel 0.05S - II: 1,500 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,250 VND/liter; Bac Ninh warehouse: Diesel 0.05S - II: 1,350 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,100 VND/liter; Nghi Son warehouse: Diesel 0.05S - II: 1,550 VND/liter, RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,300 VND/liter.
Tu Luc Petroleum: Discount on Diesel 0.05S-II: 1,500 VND/liter; Diesel 0.001S-V: 1,250 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,200 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,200 VND/liter.
MIPEC Petroleum: RON 95 - III Petroleum Discount: VND 1,150/liter; Diesel 0.05S-II: VND 1,000/liter; Diesel 0.05S: VND 1,600/liter. Applicable to the Northern region.
Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price management period, retail prices of gasoline may fluctuate in opposite directions in the direction of increasing gasoline prices and decreasing oil prices.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to increase by about 150 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline increases by about 40 VND/liter; Diesel oil decreases by about 120 VND/liter.
