World oil price today
At the end of a trading week, WTI crude oil was at 65.72 USD/barrel last weekend, down to 60.88 USD/barrel this weekend. Overall last week, WTI oil decreased by 4.84 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 7.3%.
Brent oil was at 70.13 USD/barrel last weekend, down to 64.53 USD/barrel this weekend. Overall last week, Brent oil decreased by 5.6 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of nearly 8% compared to last week.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On October 5, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on October 2.
Accordingly, gasoline prices have increased simultaneously. Gasoline price increased by 6 - 44 VND/liter; oil price increased by 161 - 380 VND/liter. Specifically, E5RON92 gasoline price increased by 6 VND/liter, RON95-III gasoline increased by 44 VND/liter, diesel increased by 380 VND/liter, kerosene increased by 377 VND/liter and mazut increased by 161 VND/kg.

Tu Luc Petroleum: Diesel discount 0.05S-II: 1,700 VND/liter; Diesel 0.001S-V: 1,550; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,500 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,500 VND/liter.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may decrease.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to decrease by about 490 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline decreases by about 450 VND/liter; Diesel oil decreases by about 230 VND/liter.
