World oil price today
After consecutive sessions of price reduction, world oil prices have decreased to the lowest level in the past 2 months. At the end of yesterday's trading session (13.8), WTI and Brent oil prices continued to fall sharply with decreases recorded at 0.8% and 0.7%, respectively.
By this morning's session, world oil prices recovered slightly. At 10:21, WTI crude oil was at 62.90 USD/barrel, up 0.26 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.42%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 62.65 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 62.75 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 75.92 USD/barrel, up 0.28 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.43%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 66.63 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 65.77 USD/barrel.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On August 14, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on August 7.
Accordingly, E5RON92 gasoline price increased by 207 VND/liter, RON95-III gasoline increased by 234 VND/liter, diesel decreased by 268 VND/liter, kerosene decreased by 54 VND/liter, mazut increased by 114 VND/kg.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may decrease simultaneously.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to decrease by about 180 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline decreases by about 240 VND/liter; Diesel oil decreases by about 720 VND/liter.
