World oil price today
World oil prices today decreased simultaneously. At 12:50, WTI crude oil was at 69.67 USD/barrel, down 0.25 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.36%. WTI crude oil closed the previous trading session at 69.92 USD/barrel, opening today's session at 69.86 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 73.06 USD/barrel, down 0.28 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.37%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 73.34 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 73.32 USD/barrel.
Thus, world oil prices turned down after yesterday's price increase. At the end of the session on March 27, Brent and WTI oil prices increased by 0.3% and 0.39%, respectively. By today's session, both oil products had turned to decrease.
According to analysts, the market is considering the risks of escalating the trade war. US President Donald Trump has announced a plan to apply a 25% tax rate to imported cars and light trucks, effective from next week. The 25% tax rate for auto parts will start from May 3.
Reuters quoted some sources as saying that India's Reliance Industries, the operator of the world's largest refining complex, will stop importing Venezuelan oil. Discounts for Venezuelan exports could be up to 35%. Venezuela could stop producing up to 400,000 barrels/day, equivalent to more than half of the country's exports, due to difficulties in commercialization.

On March 28, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 (46 provinces and cities are applying) are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade in the price management session on the afternoon of March 27, 2025. Accordingly, E5 RON 92 gasoline price increased by 337 VND/liter, RON 95-III gasoline increased by 337 VND/liter, kerosene increased by 406 VND/liter, diesel increased by 324 VND/liter. Only mazut oil decreased by 53 VND/kg.

According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, gasoline prices may increase slightly.
