World oil prices today
World gasoline and oil prices simultaneously increased. At the end of yesterday's trading session (April 27), WTI and Brent oil prices increased by 2.1% and 2.8% respectively.
This is the highest closing price of Brent oil since April 7. WTI oil price also closed at the highest level since April 13.
By this morning's session, both oil commodities continued to rise. At 8:19 am (Vietnam time), WTI crude oil price was at 97.18 USD/barrel, up 0.81 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.84%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 96.37 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 96.56 USD/barrel.
Brent oil price was at 1002.51 USD/barrel, up 0.63 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.62%. Brent oil price closed the previous trading session at 101.88 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 101.89 USD/barrel.
According to analysts, world oil prices simultaneously increased as the peace negotiation process between the US and Iran continued to fall into deadlock, while traffic through the Strait of Hormuz sharply decreased, increasing concerns about a tightened global oil supply.
In the Middle East, geopolitical tensions have also shown no signs of cooling down as the ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon remains fragile. The Israeli military on Monday launched airstrikes on eastern Lebanon, expanding the scale of the military operation in the context that the ceasefire agreement could not completely end hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah forces.

On April 28, retail gasoline and oil prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in region 1 and region 2 are as follows:
The above-mentioned domestic retail gasoline and oil prices were adjusted by the inter-ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance from 3 pm on April 23.
Accordingly, the price of E5RON92 gasoline decreased by 100 VND/liter; RON95 gasoline decreased by 162 VND/liter; diesel oil 0.05S decreased by 1,159 VND/liter; mazut oil decreased by 820 VND/kg.
