World oil price today
World oil prices continued to fall sharply today. At 10:22, WTI crude oil was at 66.07 USD/barrel, down 0.21 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.32%. WTI crude oil closed the previous trading session at 66.29 USD/barrel, opening today's session at 66.25 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 68.56 USD/barrel, down 0.20 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.29%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 68.76 USD/barrel and opened the last session of the week at 68.67 USD/barrel.
Thus, world oil prices continued to decline today, after a sharp decline in the previous session. At the end of yesterday's trading session (8.), WTI oil and Brent oil decreased by 1.5% and 1.3%, respectively.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On August 5, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on July 31.
Accordingly, E5 RON92 gasoline price increased by 122 VND/liter; RON95-III gasoline increased by 131 VND/liter; Diesel oil decreased by 61 VND/liter; Meria oil increased by 86 VND/liter; Mazut oil increased by 154 VND/kg.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may have opposite adjustments.
In particular, gasoline prices are forecast to increase by about 200 - 300 VND/liter; oil prices decrease by about 100-200 VND/liter.
