World oil price today
World oil prices today decreased simultaneously. At 10:49, WTI crude oil was at 67.21 USD/barrel, down 0.12 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.18%. WTI crude oil closed the previous trading session at 67.33 USD/barrel, opening today's session at 66.80 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 69.48 USD/barrel, down 0.18 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.26%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 69.67 USD/barrel and opened the weekend session at 69.30 USD/barrel.
Thus, world oil prices continued to decline today, prolonging the sharp decline from last weekend.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On August 4, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on July 31.
Accordingly, E5 RON92 gasoline price increased by 122 VND/liter; RON95-III gasoline increased by 131 VND/liter; Diesel oil decreased by 61 VND/liter; Meria oil increased by 86 VND/liter; Mazut oil increased by 154 VND/kg.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may increase simultaneously.
In particular, gasoline prices are forecast to increase by about 500 - 600 VND/liter; oil prices increase by about 150-250 VND/liter.
