World oil price today
World oil prices today decreased simultaneously. At 1:30 p.m., WTI crude oil was at 69.06 USD/barrel, down 0.20 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.29%. WTI crude oil closed the previous trading session at 69.26 USD/barrel, opening today's session at 69.29 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 71.55 USD/barrel, down 0.15 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.21%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 71.70 USD/barrel and opened the weekend session at 71.84 USD/barrel.
Thus, world oil prices continued to decrease today, prolonging the deep decline from the previous session. At the end of yesterday's trading session (September 31), Brent and WTI oil prices decreased by 0.97% and 1.06%, respectively.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On August 1, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on July 31.
Accordingly, E5 RON92 gasoline price increased by 122 VND/liter; RON95-III gasoline increased by 131 VND/liter; diesel decreased by 61 VND/liter, kerosene increased by 86 VND/liter, mazut increased by 154 VND/kg.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may increase.
In particular, gasoline prices are forecast to increase by about 500 - 600 VND/liter; oil prices increase by about 150-250 VND/liter.
