World oil price today
World oil prices continued to fall sharply today. At 10:39 (Vietnam time), WTI crude oil was at 66.11 USD/barrel, down 0.39 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.59%. WTI crude oil closed the previous trading session at 66.50 USD/barrel, opening today's session at 65.824 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 67.87 USD/barrel, down 0.43 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.63%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 68.30 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 67.72 USD/barrel.
Thus, world oil prices continued to fall sharply in the first trading session of the week. This morning, there was a time when both oil products simultaneously lost more than 1%.
According to analysts, the downward pressure on prices comes from OPEC+'s output increase policy, while consumption demand in the market has not shown clear signs of recovery.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On July 7, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil has been adjusted according to the price of the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade since 3:00 p.m. on July 3. Accordingly, E5RON92 gasoline price decreased by 1,085 VND/liter, RON95-III gasoline decreased by 1,210 VND/liter; diesel price decreased by 941 VND/liter; kerosene decreased by 932 VND/liter; mazut decreased by 1,148 VND/kg.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price management period, retail prices of gasoline may increase simultaneously;
Of which, RON 95 - III gasoline price is forecast to increase by about 220 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline increases by about 280 VND/liter; Diesel increases by about 300 VND/liter
