World oil price today
World oil prices are on a sharp decline. At the end of yesterday's trading session (September 4), WTI and Brent oil prices decreased by 0.8% and 1%, respectively.
By this morning's session, both oil products continued to fall sharply. At 10:49, WTI crude oil was at 63.33 USD/barrel, down 0.15 USD/barrel; equivalent to a decrease of 0.24%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 63.48 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 63.30 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 66.85 USD/barrel, down 0.14 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.21%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 66.99 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 66.83 USD/barrel.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On September 5, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on September 4.
Accordingly, gasoline prices increased simultaneously, with an increase of 76 - 116 VND/liter/kg. E5RON92 gasoline price increased by 80 VND/liter, RON95-III gasoline increased by 76 VND/liter, diesel increased by 116 VND/liter, kerosene increased by 89 VND/liter, mazut increased by 116 VND/kg.
This management period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance did not set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for E5RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel, kerosene, and fuel oil.

Tu Luc Petroleum: Discount on Diesel 0.05S-II: 1,450 VND/liter; Diesel 0.001S-V: 1,300; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,300 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,300 VND/liter.
MIPEC Petroleum: RON 95 - III Petroleum Discount: 1,300 VND/liter; Diesel 0.05S-II: 1,200 VND/liter; Diesel 0.05S: 1,400. Applicable to the Northern region.
Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price management period, retail prices of gasoline may adjust in opposite directions in the direction of decreasing gasoline prices and increasing oil prices.
