EVNHANOI arranges 5,167 power assurance shifts
On the afternoon of August 20, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hoang Long and the interdisciplinary working group inspected the power supply work on the occasion of National Day on September 2.
Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hoang Long emphasized that the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam is of great significance and special significance, requiring all work, including electricity supply, to be carefully prepared, absolutely without any errors.

Reporting to the working group, EVNHANOI General Director Nguyen Anh Tuan said that the Corporation has issued a power assurance plan, with the goal of ensuring absolute safety, continuity, stability and ensuring power quality throughout the capital during the days of organizing the Ceremony, parade, parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The top goal is to provide safe, continuous, stable and quality power to the capital during celebrations, parades, and parades. The maximum load (Pmax) is forecast to reach 5,266 MW, the largest Pmax is estimated at about 100,000 MWh/day. From 10pm on August 26 to 6am on September 3, EVNHANOI will not cut off power on the high, medium, and low voltage grid, unless there is a force majeure incident.
During the event, the Corporation will arrange to be on duty throughout the event, with a total of 5,167 shifts.

Continue to review and implement the periodic reporting regime
Mr. Vu Xuan Khu - Deputy General Director of NSMO also reported on the operation methods of the national and private power systems of Hanoi during the Ceremony; issued a document directing electricity units to strengthen the assurance of power sources and power grids in all situations. Implement additional backup transmission lines, power storage systems; Assigning and arranging human resources to be on duty 24/7 throughout the Festival. Mr. Khu also asked the Ministry of Public Security to support creating conditions to issue cards to the operating team at the locations.
Contributing additional opinions on power supply preparation, representatives of the Department of Electricity and the Department of Industrial Safety and Environment suggested that EVNHANOI, NSMO and units continue to review plans, including backup plans, even backup plans of reserves; Update weather information, to have a plan to prevent incidents, best ensure power supply even in the worst weather situations; have daily periodic reports to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

After listening to the report and comments, and concluding the working session, Deputy Minister Nguyen Hoang Long emphasized that in order to ensure absolute safety for the supply of electricity to heavy loads and activities during the Festival, units need to continue to carefully review options, including backup options. It is necessary to establish an operating and information coordination mechanism between the Ministry of Industry and Trade and power units and related units from the central to local levels.
Regarding difficulties in the movement of the operating team, the Deputy Minister requested NSMO and units to make a list and send it to the competent authorities for approval; at the same time, he requested the Ministry of Public Security to pay attention and consider supporting professional forces to successfully complete assigned tasks.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Hoang Long requested that units have daily reports to the Ministry of Industry and Trade so that the leaders of the Ministry can grasp, have solutions, and promptly resolve them.
