According to Business Insider, Chang Chi-yuan is a famous blogger in Taiwan (China).
In a post on Facebook account with 26,000 followers on September 26, hacker Chang Chi-yuan promised to delete the Facebook founder's account and broadcast the event live on Facebook Live.
"I will broadcast live on my Facebook about the Delegation of Facebook Founder Mark Zuckerberg's Account. And I have planned for this." In addition, Chang did not provide any further details on how he would achieve his goal.
According to Chang, the live video is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Sunday (September 30), which means 3:00 a.m. on October 1 in San Francisco - where Facebook is headquartered, 6:00 a.m. on October 1 in New York and 11:00 a.m. on October 1 in the UK.
Chang was honored in Line Corp's " Temple of honor 2016" for his achievements in hunting for software vulnerabilities. He was once sued by a bus operator for hacking his system and buying a ticket for just one Taiwanese dollar (about 3 cents).
If he successfully hacked Mark Zuckerberg's page, Chang could receive a huge bonus from Facebook. The world's largest social network always maintains a reward program for hackers who discover vulnerabilities or errors in their services.
Previously, in 2011, Zuckerberg's account was also hacked. Business Insider said it had contacted Facebook to ask if Zuckerberg's account was being kept confidential.
Mark Zuckerberg is a co-founder of Facebook, and currently runs the company as Chairman and CEO. Zuckerberg's net worth is estimated at 72.5 billion USD as of March 5, 2018.
