Identity of victims in truck cabin under Phong Chau bridge

    Phu Tho - The police have identified the victim found in the truck cabin near the collapsed Phong Chau bridge.

    As reported, on the afternoon of September 20, during the search and rescue process, salvage of the collapsed Phong Chau bridge structure and vehicles under the river, authorities discovered a body in the cabin of a truck.

    According to Phu Tho Provincial Police, the victim was identified as Mr. H.Q.C (born in 1986, residing in Chu Hoa Commune, Viet Tri City, Phu Tho Province). He was the driver of the tractor-trailer with license plate 19H - 024.19, which was involved in the Phong Chau bridge collapse on September 9.

    After recovering the body, authorities are conducting an examination of the vehicle and an autopsy.

    Thus far, authorities have recovered three missing victims of the Phong Chau bridge collapse on September 9. Search and rescue operations, and the salvage of the collapsed Phong Chau bridge structure and vehicles under the river are still being carried out day and night.
