According to Lao Dong, in many retail systems in Ho Chi Minh City, the "Responsible Green ticket" commodity quality control program is attracting great attention from consumers. Products with increasingly diverse green ticks, displayed in central locations, are easy to identify, helping the number of customers choosing to buy increase sharply, especially on weekends.
Ms. Thanh Truc (Binh Thanh Ward) said: "I find the green tick logo very easy to recognize. Buying these products is very secure because the origin, quality and price are clear."
Retailers said that they are expanding their green product portfolio, while promoting communication so that people clearly understand the evaluation criteria, aiming to build a civilized and sustainable consumer market.

A representative of Co.opmart system said that "responsible green ticket" is becoming a true competitive criterion, included in the internal standards set for supplier assessment. Products with green ticks are prioritized for display and communication areas and are also prioritized by customers.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Van - Communications Director of Central Retail Vietnam Group, shared that after being cautious at first, most suppliers are now ready to participate thanks to full consultation. The Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City has also transferred management software, supporting businesses more conveniently in registration, quality control and data recovery.
On the management side, Mr. Nguyen Minh Hung - Deputy Head of the Trade Management Department - Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade said that one of the new points of this year's Tet consumer stimulus program is the implementation of the peak month of "Responsible green ticket".
To help consumers feel secure shopping, in December, the Department of Industry and Trade will organize a peak month of responsible green ticks at 12 retail outlets in the city. This is a program to enhance responsibility, create mutual supervision between consumers, manufacturers and retailers, thereby bringing higher peace of mind in shopping - Mr. Hung emphasized.
