Complete the entire Vung Ang 220kV Transformer Station project and connect

Ha Tinh - After more than 3 years of implementation, the Vung Ang 220kV Transformer Station and connecting project has been completed and successfully energized for operation.

On October 25, the National Power Transmission Corporation and the Central Power Project Management Board in coordination with relevant units successfully energized the 220kV connecting line, thereby completing the entire Vung Ang 220kV Transformer Station project and connecting.

The Vung Ang 220kV Transformer Station and connecting project is invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation, the Central Power Project Management Board, on behalf of the investor, manages and operates the project, and Power Transmission Company 1 will receive operation after completion.

The project has been implemented since April 2022. The scale of the project includes a 220kV transformer station with an area of 3.3 hectares in Xom Trai residential group, Vung Ang ward; the 13.42 km long auction line includes 45 locations passing through Vung Ang ward and Song Tri ward.

The completion of the project ensures power supply for many important loads of Ha Tinh province, especially Vung Ang Economic Zone.

Previously, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) selected this project from EVN's urgent key list to complete the energization in 2025 and were launched by EVNNPT and EVNNPT Trade Union to strive to complete it as soon as possible.
