At the press conference on November 19, the Organizing Committee said that Lao Cai province has issued a comprehensive plan, assigned tasks and progress for the implementation of the 25th Vietnam - China International Trade Fair.
The Organizing Committee, the Organizing Committee Office and professional groups have been fully established, including consultation groups, border gate standing groups, fair standing groups, interpretation groups, sales groups, foreign affairs groups, press conferences, logistics and finance groups.
From July to October, the two sides held 3 working sessions to agree on the time of organization, theme, main activities, customs clearance plan and entry and exit procedures of the delegation.
Propaganda work has been promoted on central and local newspapers and radio stations; at the same time, banners have been hung along the central streets of the province.
Trade activities are being implemented in Ho Chi Minh City and through the agricultural and forestry trade program between Vietnamese enterprises with Yunnan and Zhejiang (China). To date, the Organizing Committee has received registrations of more than 600 booths.
On the Vietnamese side, there are a group of agricultural products "forestry" seafood, handicrafts, regional specialties, industrial products and household appliances; while on the Chinese side, high-tech electronics, cars, electrical appliances, consumer goods and specialties are introduced.
The Chinese side highly appreciated Vietnam's preparation work and expressed special attention. The Ha Khau district government has regularly reported to the Yunnan and Hong Ha provinces.
The Chinese booth area has been completed and decorated, with 200 booths arranged according to the diagram of the Vietnam Organizing Committee.
In addition, the fair also has 24 booths of third-party enterprises, 313 domestic enterprise booths, a food court with 27 booths and a 9 booth car exhibition area.
This year's event is expected to be attended by many delegates from ministries, branches, VCCI, delegations from Yunnan, Dai Ly, Van Son; representatives of the Vietnamese Embassy in Beijing, Vietnam Trade in Kunming, Hangzhou and trade consultants from a number of countries.
