On November 11, Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee issued a plan to organize low-altitude fireworks displays after the opening art program of the 2025 Red River Festival to serve the people and tourists.
According to the plan, the fireworks display will be launched at Nam Cuong Square, Cam Duong ward, right after the opening art program ends, expected at 9:30 p.m. on November 19.
A total of 120 fireworks displays will be used, funded by socialized sources.
The Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Military Command to preside over and coordinate with the Provincial Police, the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism, the Department of Finance, Cam Duong Ward People's Committee and relevant agencies to carefully prepare technical, safety conditions, shooting areas and range.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is responsible for developing a detailed script for the art program associated with the fireworks display, and at the same time being the focal point for mobilizing, receiving and managing socialized funding. The Department of Finance appraises the estimate, reports to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and decision.
The Provincial Police will arrange forces to ensure security, order, traffic safety and fire prevention and fighting throughout the organization period. The Department of Health prepares means, equipment and human resources to promptly respond when situations arise.
Cam Duong Ward People's Committee coordinated to propagate and guide people to attend the program, ensuring the festival area was safe, civilized and effective.
The fireworks display at the 2025 Red River Festival not only contributes to creating a highlight for the major festival, but also demonstrates the hospitality, dynamism and creativity of Lao Cai province in organizing cultural and tourism events on a regional scale.
