According to the announcement signed by Mr. Dinh An - Director of Son Long Thuan Trading & XD Company Limited, the enterprise was forced to temporarily suspend the business of Long Thuan Hotel & Resort restaurant to "adjust, restructure and find more effective business plans".
In the document, Mr. An said that although the company has made efforts to find many solutions to maintain operations, the current financial and business situation does not allow continued operations.
Therefore, Long Thuan Hotel & Resort will officially stop operating in the restaurant sector from November 9, 2025.
Long Thuan Hotel & Resort used to be the largest hotel in Ninh Thuan province, located on 16/4 Street (My Hai Ward, Phan Rang - Thap Cham Center).
This facility has been considered a high-standard accommodation destination, serving conferences, tourism and major local events for many years.
Notably, just two days before announcing the suspension of restaurant operations, on October 27, Mr. Dinh On also submitted a resignation letter to Ninh Thuan Water Supply Joint Stock Company, where he is currently the Director.
Previously, in 2008, Ninh Thuan Water Supply Company was converted from a state-owned enterprise to a joint stock company. By 2017, when Ninh Thuan province divested state capital from this unit, Son Long Thuan Construction and Trading Company Limited had bought back 3,223,000 shares (for about VND13,000/share).
After the deal, Mr. Dinh An - the owner of Son Long Thuan enterprise - was appointed as Director of Ninh Thuan Water Supply Joint Stock Company and has held this position until now.
