On June 15, the leader of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Federation of Labor informed that in the first 6 months of the year, the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions (CDCS) basically achieved the set targets for 2025.
The whole province has developed 3,423 more union members, established 8 grassroots unions in non-state enterprises, reaching 50% of the target for 2025. Among the newly established grassroots trade unions, the grassroots trade union of Innoflow NT Company Limited stands out with more than 2,500 workers admitted to the trade union.
In the first 6 months of the year, the Ninh Thuan Provincial Federation of Labor organized 100% of cadres, civil servants, and employees (CBCCNLD) to contribute comments to the draft amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the Constitution via the VneID application.
Participating with relevant agencies in supervising, evaluating and inspecting the implementation of salary, salary and bonus scales at enterprises. Participating with the provincial authorities in investigating 3 labor accidents.
The whole province has 524/524 grassroots trade unions in the administrative sector, public service sector, and state-owned enterprises participating with leaders of agencies, units, and enterprises promulgating and implementing grassroots democracy regulations. 109/165 non-state-owned enterprise trade unions participated with employers in promulgating and implementing grassroots democracy regulations, reaching 66% of the annual target.
3/15 enterprises have signed new collective labor agreements, including the content of increasing the value of employees' shift meals to 20,000 VND/meal.
In the first 6 months of the year, 31,607 union members and employees of 668 grassroots unions were propagandized, disseminated, studied, and thoroughly understood the Party's guidelines and resolutions, the State's policies and laws related to employees and the Trade Union. 8,955 workers at enterprises participated in the study to improve their qualifications and professional skills.
Regarding caring for union members, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, trade unions at all levels in the province from union financial resources and socialized sources have organized many meaningful activities to support union members and workers with a total amount of more than 15 billion VND. Joining hands to support the program "eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" for poor households in the province in 2025, with an amount of more than 4.8 billion VND.
Activities in response to Workers' Month and Labor Safety and Hygiene Action Month in 2025 took place at trade unions at all levels with many practical and appropriate activities. There are 114 enterprise trade unions organizing Workers' Month, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of workers.
Notably, the 2025 Labor Union Sports Festival; Ninh Phuoc, Thuan Nam, Thuan Bac, Ninh Hai Labor Federations and the Industrial Zones Trade Union organized the giving of 700 gifts (each gift worth 500,000 VND) to union members and workers in difficult circumstances; organized meetings and dialogues between union members and workers with directors at the two enterprises to listen to the thoughts, aspirations, recommendations of more than 200 union members and workers and legal advice on social insurance, safety, occupational hygiene, the value of shift meals...
