Opening of Vimexpo 2024 supporting industry exhibition

Vimexpo 2024 continues to affirm its role as the most prestigious and professional annual event in the supporting and manufacturing industry sector in Vietnam.

The 5th Vietnam International Exhibition on Supporting Industries and Manufacturing - Vimexpo 2024 opened on the morning of October 17, 2024, at the ICE International Exhibition Center (Hanoi).

The program is directed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, hosted by the Industrial Development Support Center (IDC), in coordination with C.I.S Vietnam Advertising and Exhibition Company.

Attending the opening ceremony of Vimexpo 2024 Exhibition were Mr. Truong Thanh Hoai - Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Mr. Pham Nguyen Hung - Director of the Department of Industry, Mr. Ishikawa Isamu - Deputy Ambassador of Japan to Vietnam, Mr. Phan Dang Tuat - Chairman of Vietnam Association of Supporting Industries... along with representatives of units, associations, organizations, representatives of domestic and foreign enterprises.

Vimexpo Exhibition belongs to the Supporting Industry Development Program, is an event to concretize Resolution No. 115/NQ-CP of the Government, aiming to create a favorable environment for enterprises operating in the supporting industry and manufacturing and processing sector to introduce products, exchange technology, seek partners, joint ventures, and attract investment.

With the goal of "Connecting for development", Vimexpo has received the attention and support of domestic and international enterprises in the fields of supporting industry and manufacturing and processing through 4 times of organization.

Vimexpo 2024 has the participation of 183 enterprises: Thaco Group, Toyota Vietnam, Veam Corporation, Mechanics 83, V-PROUD, Smart Vietnam, INTECH... and companies from countries and territories: Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan (China)...

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Pham Tuan Anh - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry, Ministry of Industry and Trade - commented: “With the orientation of “Connecting for development”, Vimexpo Exhibition 2024 marks an important milestone of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in its efforts to promote the development of the supporting industry and the processing and manufacturing industry in Vietnam, contributing to realizing the policies and goals of the Party and the State. I believe that, with the participation of many businesses and the attention and support from agencies and units, Vimexpo Exhibition 2024 will achieve many successes, opening up new opportunities for cooperation and development; contributing to raising the position of Vietnam's industry to become one of the leading countries in the global supply chain”.

Within the framework of the exhibition, Vimexpo 2024 also has essential sideline activities for businesses: "Business Matching" with the participation of Toyota, Bosch, Samsung, Hyundai, Denso, TMT Motor, Canon, Hanel..; many other useful technology demonstrations and events in 3 days (from October 17-19).
