From the beginning of 2025 to now, the Steering Committee 389 of Khanh Hoa province has detected and handled 3,533 violations in the field of smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods, collecting more than 604 billion VND to the state budget.
Of which, there were 803 cases related to trading and transporting prohibited and smuggled goods; 2,626 cases of trade fraud, tax fraud and 74 cases related to counterfeit and poor quality goods.
In addition to administrative fines, the authorities have transferred the criminal records of 57 cases, with 71 subjects.
To tighten control, market management forces continuously organize peak inspections at "hot spots" such as unit markets, large grocery stores, warehouses in border areas, etc.
In June 2025 alone, Market Management Team No. 1 of Nam Khanh Hoa region discovered 4 violations related to counterfeit and poor quality goods, and imposed administrative fines of over 104 million VND.
According to the representative of the Department of Industry and Trade of Khanh Hoa, in the coming time, the industry will continue to coordinate with functional forces, grasp the area, strengthen inspection to promptly detect and handle violations.
At the same time, promote propaganda, raise awareness and responsibility of organizations and individuals in production and business, contributing to protecting the rights and health of consumers.
