This is also the basis for the province to propose plans to reduce the content of documents in administrative procedures requiring confirmation of marital status, shortening the processing time for people.
Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Nam requested the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones to identify this task as a focus. Units urgently focus resources and equipment to ensure 100% data updates are completed in accordance with regulations.
Localities must be responsible to the Provincial People's Committee for the implementation progress. At the same time, strengthen reporting, monitoring, inspection and coordination with relevant agencies to handle arising problems.
The Provincial Police are assigned to direct the Commune-level Police to coordinate with the Commune-level People's Committees to review, verify, collect and edit citizen data with incorrect information and lack of information about the status of marriage, to ensure accuracy, completeness and synchronization.
The Department of Justice coordinates with the Provincial People's Court to receive the judgment and decision on illegal divorce/cancellation of marriage (from January 1, 2010 to May 31, 2025) to classify and transfer to the People's Committee at the commune level to update the registration and household registration management system.
At the same time, guide the implementation process to be unified, urge progress, propose rewards for localities that do well and strictly handle places that do not implement seriously.
Clearing marriage data is expected to contribute significantly to administrative procedure reform.
