The project was selected as one of the projects to celebrate the 130th anniversary of the province's founding and the success of the 16th Son La Provincial Party Congress.

BHL Son La bien flour factory has a scale of 1.64 hectares, designed capacity of 300 tons/day and night (equivalent to 90,000 tons of products/year), total investment of nearly 245 billion VND.
The project is equipped with two modern lines, creating more than 1,000 product codes in 5 key lines, serving the two main markets, Vietnam and China, and aiming for global export.

The factory has been put into operation, creating jobs for more than 300 local workers and thousands of households growing cassava in the area. This is an important step in enhancing the value of cassava - the province's main crop with more than 44,000 hectares, yielding nearly 538,000 tons of fresh tubers per year.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cong - Vice Chairman of Son La Provincial People's Committee requested BHL Company to continue to operate effectively, strictly comply with environmental regulations, ensure the rights of workers, and contribute to promoting the development of the province's agricultural processing industry.

The inauguration of BHL Son La bien hoa starch factory is an important milestone, affirming the province's efforts in attracting investment, developing high-tech agriculture and aiming to become a center for agricultural processing of the midlands and mountainous areas of the North.
