On January 20, the Economic Police Department of Hue City Police said that they had just prosecuted the case and prosecuted the defendant Ha Thi Tu Oanh (born in 1981, residing in My Thuong ward, Hue City), Director of Kha Nhi Food Co., Ltd., for the crime of "Tax evasion" under Article 200 of the Penal Code.
The investigation results determined that from 2022 to 2025, to reduce costs and taxes to be paid, Ha Thi Tu Oanh bought floating food of unknown origin, made fake invoices, and issued illegal invoices to conceal revenue, causing loss of state budget revenue. This behavior also poses a risk of food safety and hygiene, affecting consumer health.
Currently, the Economic Police Department is continuing to expand the investigation and clarify related organizations and individuals to handle according to legal regulations.
