Dak Lak - Within just 1 month, the province's export turnover has decreased by 31%.

On April 27, information from the Department of Industry and Trade of Dak Lak province said that the total export turnover of the whole province in April 2025 is estimated at 170 million USD, down 31% compared to the previous month.

Since the beginning of the year, the total accumulated exports of the whole province are estimated at 745 million USD, an increase of 6.6% over the same period in 2024, reaching 40.1% of the plan.

A coffee export business owner (located in Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak province) said: "Faced with fluctuations in the world market, our business must calculate very carefully the business plan. Currently, for short-term export orders, we are forced to deliver goods quickly to partners to avoid arising risks and losses".

A representative of the Department of Industry and Trade of Dak Lak province commented: "In April 2025, the local export turnover will decrease by 31% compared to March 2025. The main reason is that before the information that the US applied counterpart taxes to other countries, import orders of partners in other countries increased sharply.

Exporting enterprises in the province have boosted the export of a large amount of goods by the end of March 2025 to meet demand."

The export turnover of Dak Lak province in the following months is forecast to remain above average, after the import demand of other countries cooled down.
