Of which, import turnover reached 2.4 billion USD; export turnover was 1.89 billion USD.
The total number of enterprises completing procedures is 1,350, an increase of 340 enterprises compared to the same period in 2023. State budget revenue as of November 28, 2024 reached nearly 2,160 billion VND, an increase of 52% over the same period in 2023, an increase of 36% of the assigned target.
Notably, the import and export turnover of goods through border gates and customs clearance routes managed by Mong Cai Customs Branch but registered at customs units in other provinces and cities reached 10.1 billion USD, nearly double that of 2023.
Of which, import turnover was 5.27 billion USD; export turnover was 4.83 billion USD.
According to Mong Cai Border Gate Customs Branch, import and export goods of enterprises and individuals making declarations at customs units in other provinces and cities through Mong Cai are mainly raw materials and supplies for processing and manufacturing export goods...
These cases pay taxes at the localities where the declaration is registered, while in Mong Cai, only infrastructure fees are paid.
In 2023, the import and export turnover of goods not going through procedures through Mong Cai Customs Branch (registering declarations elsewhere) but exporting and importing goods through border gates and customs clearance routes managed by Mong Cai Customs Branch is 5.68 billion USD, of which the import turnover is 3.61 billion USD; the export turnover is 2.07 billion USD.
