Net worth of the 5 richest billionaires in Vietnam reaches 47 billion USD
Forbes data updated on August 6 shows that the 5 richest billionaires in Vietnam own a total net worth of about 47 billion USD. Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong continues to lead with 34.2 billion USD, an increase of 141 million USD compared to the previous session, accounting for nearly 73% of the group's total assets and ranking 63rd in the world.
Behind are Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao with 3.9 billion USD (ranked 1st in the world), Ms. Pham Thu Huong with 3.8 billion USD (up 32 million USD, ranked 1st 128), Ms. Pham Thuy Hang with 2.7 billion USD (up 21 million USD, ranked 1st 559) and Mr. Tran Dinh Long with 2.4 billion USD (ranked 1st 722 in the world).
In this update, the assets of Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong, Ms. Pham Thu Huong and Ms. Pham Thuy Hang all increased, while Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao and Mr. Tran Dinh Long recorded a decrease. Bac Ninh for the first time exceeds the milestone of 1 million workers working in the business sector
Bac Ninh has just announced the preliminary results of the 2026 Economic Census. By January 1, 2026, the whole province had nearly 40,000 businesses, nearly double compared to 2021; the total number of workers in the business sector exceeded 1 million people for the first time.

Bao Loc mangosteen affirms brand, prices increase to record highs
After nearly 3 years of being granted brand certification, Bao Loc mangosteen continues to affirm its brand when the 2026 crop year is a bumper crop and priced well.
