Bac A Bank has just adjusted to increase the deposit interest rate for a 13-month term for deposits under 1 billion VND. Accordingly, the interest rate for a 13-month term is increased by 0.25%/year, to 7%/year - the highest listed interest rate currently of this bank.
The remaining terms are kept unchanged by Bac A Bank. According to the latest interest rate schedule, the deposit interest rate at the end of the 1-5 month term is at 4.55%/year; the 6-11 month term is 6.85%/year; the 12 month term is 6.9%/year; the 15-36 month term is 6.75%/year.
For deposits from 1 billion VND or more, Bac A Bank lists higher interest rates than usual. Term of 1-5 months at 4.75%/year; term of 6-11 months is 7.05%/year; term of 12 months is 7.1%/year; term of 15-36 months is 6.95%/year.
Saigonbank recently also adjusted the deposit interest rate schedule. The bank strongly increased the online savings interest rate for a 13-month term from 7%/year to 7.9%/year. This is currently the highest interest rate in Saigonbank's listed schedule, and also the highest listed deposit interest rate on the market.
In the opposite direction, Saigonbank reduced deposit interest rates for terms from 7-11 months and from 18-36 months. Online savings interest rates for terms of 7-11 months simultaneously decreased by 0.2%/year, down to 6.2%/year.
Meanwhile, online interest rates for terms of 18-36 months also decreased by 0.5%/year. After adjustment, the interest rate for 18-month terms is 6.5%/year, 24-month terms is 6%/year and 36-month terms is 6.1%/year.
Recently, Vietcombank also announced the "FLEXIBLE DEPOSIT DEPOSIT" product on the VCB Digibank application with a special interest rate of up to 7.4%/year, applicable until May 15, 2026. According to the information displayed on the application, customers can open online deposits 24/7, deduct principal flexibly when needed but still preserve interest for the remaining deposit.
Cake by VPBank also implements an additional policy of up to 1.5%/year for individual customers who first use term deposit products, applicable to deposits from 6 months or more, no pre-term settlement and receiving interest in the form of end-of-term, beginning-of-term, monthly or quarterly installments. The program is applied from May 1 to May 31, 2026.
Currently, Cake by VPBank is applying an interest rate of 7.2-7.4%/year for terms from 6-24 months. With this preferential policy, the highest actual interest rate received by customers can be up to 8.9%/year.
