After the adjustment, the regular savings interest rate at the interest collection counter at the end of the 1-3 month term is 4.3%/year, the 4-5 month term is 4.5%/year; the 6-11 month and 36-60 month terms are 6.2%/year; 12 months is 6.3%/year; 13 months is 6.4%/year; 15-18 months is 6.5%/year. The highest level is 6.6%/year for the 24-25 month term.
For priority customers, LPBank applies the highest interest rate of 6.8%/year for a term of 24-25 months for Diamond members.
In addition to the usual listing, the bank still applies a special interest rate of 7.2%/year for new/recurrent deposits of a 13-month term (according to ordinary savings mobilization products and other products) with a deposit balance of 300 billion VND or more/Saving book/Deposit contract.
To date, 9 banks have adjusted deposit interest rates in May. Among them, ACB, VPBank, Sacombank, MB and LPBank reduced deposit interest rates; Bac A Bank increased interest rates for 13-month terms and then quickly reduced them back to the old level; OCB increased interest rates for many terms; Saigonbank strongly increased online savings interest rates for 13-month terms to 7.9%/year, and at the same time reduced interest rates for terms of 7-11 months and 18-36 months; Nam A Bank increased deposit interest rates.
