Bank interest rates today May 30: Six banks have interest rates above 7.5%

VPBank digital bank is listing the interest rate for 12-month term deposits at Cake by VPBank at 7.4%/year. From May 1-3, 2026, Cake by VPBank implements an additional 1.5%/year program for individual customers who deposit savings for the first time on the Cake Bank application, applicable to deposits from 6 months or more and not pre-finalized. Accordingly, the actual received interest rate for the 12-month term can be up to 8.9%/year.

Saigonbank currently applies an online savings interest rate of 7.9%/year for a 13-month term, which is the highest level in the bank's listed interest rate schedule.

For large deposits, PVcomBank applies a special interest rate of 10%/year for a term of 12-13 months when customers maintain a minimum balance of 2,000 billion VND.

MSB lists an interest rate of 9%/year for newly opened or automatically renewed savings books from January 1, 2018, applicable to terms of 12-13 months and deposits from 500 billion VND or more.

HDBank applies a special interest rate of 7.2%/year for a 12-month term and 7.6%/year for a 13-month term, receiving interest at the end of the term. This policy only applies to savings cards with a balance of 500 billion VND or more and does not apply to forms of early interest payment or periodic interest payment.

At Vikky Bank, an interest rate of 7.9%/year is applied to deposits from 999 billion VND or more for a 13-month term, with interest paid at the end of the term. This interest rate is calculated according to the 13-month deposit interest rate plus a margin of 1.8%/year and does not apply simultaneously to other promotional programs.
