On June 8, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee worked with leaders of Novaland Group to review the implementation situation and remove difficulties for businesses' projects in the eastern region of the province.

The working session was chaired by Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh, with the participation of leaders of relevant departments, branches, localities and representatives of Novaland Group.
According to the report, there are currently 7 projects belonging to the Novaland ecosystem facing obstacles in the implementation process.
The main difficulties related to adjusting investment objectives, extending land use progress, receiving land use rights transfers, mineral planning and handling existing problems according to previous inspection conclusions.

In which, the Hon Gio Resort Tourism project in Tien Thanh ward has completed 122/130 resort projects, many villa areas have reached completion rates from 88 - 95%.
However, the project is facing obstacles in adjusting investment objectives due to the expiration of the land use extension period.
Similarly, the Duc Tan Outdoor Tourist Area project, although it has completed many procedures on planning, environment and technical infrastructure, has not been granted a construction permit due to land use progress.
The Vuong Cung resort tourism complex project has a total investment of nearly 1,900 billion VND, the enterprise has received the transfer of about 23.5ha of land but more than 7ha has not been completed due to land dossiers of households.Some projects in the Mui Ne area continue to face difficulties related to mineral planning and inspection conclusions that need to be handled according to regulations.
Representatives of Novaland said that many projects are behind schedule due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, prolonged land price determination process, planning adjustments and related administrative procedures.
The business proposed that the province continue to support removal of obstacles to soon complete legal documents and deploy investment.
According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, some business recommendations have a basis for consideration, especially for cases arising from objective factors or policy and planning changes.

However, businesses need to continue to complete dossiers so that functional agencies have a basis to advise on handling.
Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh said that most of the current problems are concentrated in the land sector, requiring close coordination between departments and sectors in the process of resolution.
Meanwhile, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen emphasized that the province always accompanies and creates conditions for businesses to invest and develop projects in accordance with legal regulations.
Leaders of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches, and localities to comprehensively review planning, ensure synchronization between provincial planning and urban and rural planning, and avoid overlapping in the implementation process.
For projects that need to extend land use progress or adjust investment objectives, the consideration must be based on objective reasons and fully comply with the provisions of law on land, investment, bidding and auction.
For projects that have been basically completed, functional agencies are assigned to focus on supporting businesses to complete procedures to put them into operation soon.
Leaders of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed a consistent view: Projects that have been implemented and invested in need to focus on removing difficulties to continue implementation, promote investment efficiency and contribute to local socio-economic development.
