On September 24, information from the People's Committee of Lao Cai province, the province has just issued decision No. 3426 establishing Mong Son Industrial Cluster in Lang Moi village, Bao Ai commune, with an area of 50 hectares.
Mong Son Industrial Cluster is bordered by Thac Ba Lake in the East and South; agricultural land, residential areas, mineral land and production and business land planning in the North; agricultural land, cemetery land and residential areas in the West.
According to the decision, the current status of the planned area is mainly production forest land with 36.94 ha, accounting for 73.91% of the area. In addition, there are rice land, land for social infrastructure construction, rural residential land and some other types of land.
The industrial cluster is oriented to attract agricultural, forestry and fishery processing industries; mineral processing; construction materials production; electricity and water production; mechanical and electronic manufacturing, assembly and repair.
Supporting industries, high-tech processing, consumer goods production, and handicrafts are also oriented to develop.
CRC Infrastructure Construction Investment Joint Stock Company is identified as the investor of construction and business of industrial cluster technical infrastructure.
The project will invest in synchronous transportation systems, electricity supply, water supply, rainwater drainage, centralized wastewater collection and treatment, communication, green trees and administrative - service - technical areas.
The total investment of the project is VND 496.651 billion. The expected technical infrastructure construction time is 24 months from the date the investor is allocated land and leased land by the State; the project's operating term is 50 years.
The Provincial People's Committee requests the investor to ensure capital sources, deploy on schedule, and comply with regulations on land, forestry, construction, fire prevention and fighting, and environmental protection.
Notably, centralized wastewater treatment plants must be completed before receiving secondary projects into operation.
The investor must also coordinate with Bao Ai Commune People's Committee to implement compensation, support, and resettlement according to regulations.
Bao Ai Commune People's Committee is responsible for managing the industrial cluster in the area, coordinating the implementation of site clearance and resettlement.
