According to the cooperation agreement, the Vietnam Young Physicians Association and the Institute of Preventive Medicine and Public Health Training - Hanoi Medical University will develop training content for the Manulife insurance consulting team. The program is designed to ensure professionalism and practicality, focusing on some infectious diseases and common non-communicable diseases in the community. In addition, Manulife consultants also have the opportunity to practice skills such as: analyzing and predicting some common tests and health check-up results, advising on some health problems that are suitable for insurance benefits...

After the signing ceremony, the program is expected to start in August 2025, with the participation of direct teaching of a team of doctors and leading health experts from the Vietnam Young Physicians Association and the Institute of Preventive Medicine and Public Health Training - Hanoi Medical University. Counselors who complete the study program and pass the competency test will be certified by the school.

Through the program, Manulife Vietnam hopes to equip the consulting team with a practical medical foundation to effectively connect and accompany customers. For existing customers, understanding some common public health issues helps consultants better answer and support questions related to health benefits payment, as well as share information about risk factors, ways to prevent diseases, build a positive lifestyle for personal health and build a healthy community, helping customers conquer a healthy life journey every day. Meanwhile, for potential customers, with accumulated medical knowledge, consultants can design insurance solutions suitable to the current health status of customers, contributing to optimizing costs to achieve financial goals.

The program also contributes to helping Manulife promote the development of the Vietnamese insurance industry in a transparent, professional and sustainable manner.

Associate Professor. Dr. Dr. Le Minh Giang - Director of the Institute of Preventive Medicine Training, Hanoi Medical University said: "Manolife's proactive cooperation with medical training facilities demonstrates a pioneering thinking and long-term strategy for improving the quality of health consultation in the insurance industry in Vietnam. Through the program, the agency team will be provided with essential knowledge about public health, thereby supporting consultation and accompanying insurance participants. This training linkage model can be replicated in the future, contributing to standardizing the quality of insurance consulting and expanding the role of insurance in community health care activities.

In the context of increasingly popular and essential insurance, Manulife believes that focusing on people is the key to sustainable development. By improving medical knowledge for the consulting team, the Company not only demonstrates responsibility to each customer, but also affirms the strategy of taking customers as the center of all activities. This is part of Manulife's long-term vision, aiming to build a quality, professional insurance ecosystem, where each consultant is a long-term companion on the journey to protect customers' finances and health.
