Meey Group and SAKRAD sign a consulting contract to deploy CMMI, aiming to standardize processes and improve management capacity.

On August 12, in Hanoi, Meey Land Group Joint Stock Company (“Meey Group”) and SAKRAD Consulting Services Co., Ltd. held the signing ceremony of CMMI Cooperation Deployment. CMMI is an international standard model to help organize process improvement, improve efficiency, quality management and minimize risks.

According to the cooperation content, SAKRAD will advise, train and accompany Meey Group to deploy the CMMI Level 3 model in three areas from product development, service provision to data management. The project is expected to last 10 months, through stages of status assessment, process development, trial application, readiness assessment and implementation of CMMI Official Assessment (Benchmark Appraisal).

Standardize processes to create a foundation for sustainable growth

In technology businesses, product expansion speed often entails higher requirements for management and operational capabilities. As the number of projects, data, personnel and customer touch increases, discrete processes can create lag in coordination and affect output quality.

In the long-term development roadmap, Meey Group is aiming to meet the requirements of CMMI Maturity Level 3 in three areas: Product development, Service provision and Data management. According to this orientation, Meey Group is shifting from managing each unit, each project to building operational capacity at the organizational level. The transition is suitable for the stage when the business expands its product ecosystem, data scale and operating scope.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Hoang Mai Chung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Meey Group, emphasized that the implementation of CMMI is part of the enterprise's process standardization orientation.

Meey Group sees CMMI as a fundamental improvement program. Our goal is to build a clear, unified and measurable operating method. Each process needs to support the team to work more effectively. Each standard needs to be transformed into product quality, service quality and specific customer experience," Mr. Hoang Mai Chung shared.

Accompanying Meey Group is SAKRAD Consulting Services Co., Ltd., a unit specializing in improving processes and deploying CMMI. SAKRAD has implemented more than 200 consulting, training, process improvement programs and more than 100 CMMI projects for businesses in Vietnam and internationally.

According to Meey Group Chairman, technology businesses wanting to develop sustainably need to maintain innovation speed along with operating discipline and synchronous management capacity.

The simultaneous deployment of three areas in this project demonstrates Meey Group's consistent approach. We want to create a close link between product development, service provision and data management. The goal is not to create more procedures, but to turn good practices into a unified, measurable and improved operating method at the organizational level. With the companionship of SAKRAD, we expect to approach CMMI in a substantive direction and create a foundation for long-term development goals," said Mr. Hoang Mai Chung.

Mr. Luu Quang Tien, CEO of SAKRAD, assessed that Meey Group's simultaneous deployment of the three fields of Development, Services and Data is a step in line with the company's development orientation. According to him, the value of CMMI lies in its ability to help businesses build a systematic management system, standardize processes and form a culture of continuous improvement.

Bringing international standards into practical operation

To make international standards truly create value, the project is implemented in the direction of linking process standardization with actual operations at Meey Group. In which, Development focuses on standardizing product development processes; Services towards improving the quality and efficiency of service provision; Data builds a unified data management platform.

Through Pilot projects, the process system will be verified and further improved before being widely applied. This approach helps businesses form a common operating method between units, reduce dependence on individual ways of doing things and create a basis for measurement, evaluation, and improvement at the organizational level.

The project aims to meet the requirements of CMMI Level 3, while building a unified governance platform, standardizing processes and promoting a culture of continuous improvement throughout the enterprise.

The deployment of CMMI is a strategic step in Meey Group's development roadmap, demonstrating long-term investment commitment in management and operational capabilities. This platform is expected to support businesses in improving product and service quality, increasing customer experience and strengthening competitiveness.
