Russia launches massive attacks on fuel tanks and Ukrainian military cargo ships

Seaport infrastructure and waterway supply continue to be priority targets in Russia's campaign to weaken the logistics of the Ukrainian army.

Russian armed forces continue to attack port infrastructure and ships used to supply the Ukrainian army, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced.

On August 12, Russian troops raided targets at 3 ports of Odessa, Ochakov and Chernomorsk in Ukraine. TASS news agency has compiled key information about the results of these attacks.

The Russian military hit a dry cargo ship carrying military goods, equipped with electronic warfare (EW) systems. A fuel tanker serving the Ukrainian army was also attacked in this area.

The night before, Russian armed forces used precision guided weapons launched from the air and unmanned aerial vehicles to attack and hit a fuel and lubricant depot at the port of Odessa - a facility involved in ensuring logistics for the Ukrainian army.

At Ochakov port in Nikolayev province, Russian troops hit a Ukrainian patrol boat.

The Russian army carried out attacks with precision guided weapons launched from the air and unmanned aerial vehicles, hitting fuel tanks, lubricants and port infrastructure items used for loading and unloading and storing military goods.

The fact that all 3 ports were attacked in one day shows that Moscow is expanding the scope of targets along the Black Sea coastline, targeting the links of transporting and storing fuel and equipment of the Ukrainian side.
