According to the Mong Cai International Border Gate Management Board, from the beginning of the year to March 10, the total volume of import and export goods through border gates and openings in the area reached 430,977 tons, an increase of 63.1% over the same period.
Total import-export turnover reached 819.1 million USD, up 3.88%, of which exports accounted for 542 million USD, imports were 277.1 million USD.
At Bac Luan II Border Gate, there are 20,442 vehicles transporting 255,084 tons of import-export goods, an increase of 92.6% over the same period in 2024.

On average, there are 3,924 tons of customs clearance goods per day. Of which, imports reached 201.125 tons, exports reached 53,559 tons.
At the Km3+4 Opening, Hai Yen recorded strong growth with 5,401 vehicles transporting 128,335 tons of export goods, up 137%.
The main items include: fruits (87,429 tons); cassava powder (7,872 tons); frozen seafood (29,382 tons); shrimp, crab, live fish (1,883 tons); dried nuts and other goods (1,769 tons).
Imported goods reached 5,860 tons, mainly groceries and garments, an increase of 9% over the previous year.
The number of enterprises completing import-export procedures in Mong Cai increased by 122 enterprises compared to the same period, reaching 676 enterprises, including 139 new enterprises.
Total state budget revenue reached VND 401.62 billion, up 72% over the same period in 2024.
With this growth momentum, Mong Cai is continuing to affirm its position as an important trade gateway between Vietnam and China, contributing greatly to the state budget revenue.
