A series of banks increased interest rates
According to Lao Dong, Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank (HDBank) has just adjusted its deposit interest rate up after nearly 3 months of keeping it unchanged.
The deposit interest rate table at HDBank records the following changes:
1-month term interest rate is 3.85%/year.
3-month term interest rate is 3.95%/year.
6-month term interest rate increased by 0.2 percentage points, at 5.3%/year.
12-month term interest rate increased by 0.1 percentage point, at 5.6%/year.
13-month term interest rate increased by 0.1 percentage point, at 5.8%/year.
18-month term interest rate is 6.1%/year.
Vietnam International Commercial Joint Stock Bank (VIB) also increased interest rates today.
One-month interest rate increased by 0.1 percentage point, at 3.6%/year.
The 2-month term interest rate increased by 0.1 percentage point, to 3.7%/year.
3-month term interest rate increased by 0.1 percentage point, at 3.9%/year.
Interest rate for 6-9 month term is 4.8%/year.
12-month term interest rate at 5.3%/year.
36-month term interest rate is 5.4%/year.
Loc Phat Vietnam Commercial Joint Stock Bank (LPBank) increased interest rates, mainly at long terms.
Interest rates for 1-5 month terms remain unchanged at 3.6-3.8%/year.
12-month term interest rate increased by 0.1 percentage point, at 5.6%/year.
18-month term interest rate increased by 0.1 percentage point, at 5.8%/year.
60-month term interest rate increased by 0.1 percentage point, at 5.8%/year.
Since the beginning of November, 11 banks have adjusted their deposit interest rates, including GPBank, LPBank, Nam A Bank, IVB, Viet A Bank, VIB, MB, Agribank, Techcombank, ABBank and VietBank.
