According to information from Phu Tho Provincial Police, at 1:30 p.m. on November 19, rescue forces found the body of the second victim downstream, about 2km from Phong Chau pontoon bridge in zone 7, Huong Non commune, Tam Nong district.
Currently, the police are conducting autopsies and identifying the missing victims.
Initially, relatives identified the body as B.K.L.A, born in 2011, the victim of the drowning incident that occurred yesterday afternoon, November 18.
So far, the bodies of two female students have been found, T.M.D (found on the evening of November 18) and B.K.L.A., while three other students are still missing, H.T.T.L, H.T.D and L.A.D, all 8th graders at Hien Quan Secondary School.
According to the reporter's records at the Red River alluvial plain, through area 1, Hien Quan commune, Tam Nong district (the other side belongs to Ha Thach commune, Phu Tho town), currently, the authorities are trying to find the remaining 3 students.
As reported, on the afternoon of November 18, 10 students went to the riverbank in Zone 1, Hien Quan Commune to play. While playing, 6 students drowned (3 boys, 3 girls, 1 was rescued, in stable health), 5 students went missing.
