On August 6, nearly 1.26 billion shares of DMX code of Dien may Xanh Investment Joint Stock Company (DMX) were officially traded at the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE).
The listing took place after Dien May Xanh completed its IPO (initial public offering of shares) with 166,438,500 shares successfully distributed, bringing in 13,315 billion VND (about 500 million USD).
Nearly 90% of the shares are distributed to nearly 60 investment funds, of which 73% come from foreign funds and 17% from domestic funds. After issuance, the capitalization of Dien May Xanh reached VND 101,418 billion (approximately USD 3.9 billion).
With this capitalization scale, Dien May Xanh leads the listed retail group. Mobile World (MWG) has a capitalization of about 93,000 billion VND, FPT Retail (FRT) and PNJ are both under 30,000 billion VND.
Starting from a retailer of consumer electronics and technology products, DMX now owns a retail ecosystem with thegioididong.com, Dien may Xanh, TopZone, CTCP the Dien may Xanh and EraBlue chains in Indonesia, serving tens of millions of customers each year through a network of more than 3,000 stores and a multi-channel sales platform nationwide.
Stock listing helps DMX expand its access to the capital market, improve management standards according to international practices, and create more resources to continue investing in technology, logistics, developing the retail ecosystem and expanding operations domestically and internationally.
Right at the time of listing, this enterprise immediately created a great attraction when closing to pay cash dividends up to 40% and paying immediately in August, opening a series of dividend policies up to 8,000 VND/share in 12 months with expected stock dividends at a ratio of 1:1.
The shareholder list closing date is August 19, 2026, the payment time is August 26, 2026. It is expected that in December 2026, Dien May Xanh will continue to advance VND 2,000/share - cash dividend for 2026.
By April 2027, after the annual general meeting of shareholders, Dien May Xanh is expected to pay another 2,000 VND/share, completing the minimum cash dividend level of 50% of after-tax profit in 2026 as committed. At the same time, Dien May Xanh will consider distributing the remaining profit in shares combined with capital surplus after IPO, expected ratio of 1:1.
Thus, the total expected benefits in the 12 months after listing include 8,000 VND/share in cash dividends, equivalent to 10% on the IPO price of 80,000 VND/share and expected stock dividends at a ratio of 1:1.
Right in the first trading session on HoSE, DMX shares increased by 2.5% to a price of 82,000 VND with a total trading volume of more than 1.9 million shares.
Accumulated for the first 6 months of 2026, the company's net revenue reached VND 65,280 billion, up 27% over the same period. After-tax profit reached an impressive level of VND 4,876 billion, growing by 73% and completing up to 66% of the full-year profit plan. Notably, the balance of money and short-term financial investment as of June 30, 2026 reached VND 44,670 billion, outstandingly high compared to short-term loans.
