Tomorrow morning (August 29), Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) will hold the inauguration ceremony of the 500kV circuit 3 line project from Quang Trach (Quang Binh) to Pho Noi (Quang Binh). Hung Yen).
The inauguration ceremony was held in a live and online format with the main bridge point taking place at the 500kV Pho Noi transformer station (Hung Yen) and connecting online to 8 bridge points in 8 provinces where the project passes through. .
The inauguration ceremony is expected to be attended by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the main bridge point of Hung Yen province, along with Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha at Ha Tinh bridge point and Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long at the Thanh Hoa bridge point.
Also attending the ceremony were leaders of relevant ministries, branches, agencies and leaders of the provinces where the project passed. Provincial leaders at local bridges will give welcome speeches and share about the project's contributions to local development.
The 500kV circuit 3 line project is an important part of the national energy infrastructure development plan. Completion of the project will help increase the power transmission capacity from the Central region to the North from 2,200MW to 5,000MW to solve the problem of electricity supply to the North, which is currently facing many difficulties and urgency.
The 500kV circuit 3 line project of Quang Trach - Pho Noi is invested by EVNNPT, with a total investment of about 22,300 billion VND going through 9 provinces, including 4 component projects.
With a total length of about 519 km, the project has a scale of 1,177 columns; Of which, the tallest column is 145 m, the heaviest column is up to 415 tons, constructed in different harsh weather conditions such as cold rain, hot sun, storms, floods, thunderstorms, whirlwinds... and passes through many locations. dangerous shape.
The project has a particularly important meaning to improve the capacity to connect the power transmission grid between the North - Central - South regions, contributing to ensuring electricity supply for the North and ensuring national energy security.
According to EVN, normally a project with a scale similar to a 500kV circuit 3 line project, investment preparation work usually takes 2-3 years to start construction.
However, given the urgency and importance of this project, the Prime Minister strongly directs and requests ministries and branches to uphold the highest sense of responsibility, proactively and closely coordinate to solve the problem. Resolve procedures, documents, and work related to the project as quickly as possible according to assigned functions and tasks.
Therefore, ministries and branches also worked through the night and through holidays so that in less than 5 months from the first submission, the investment policies of the projects were approved.
