On June 9, the Party Committee of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee held a conference to listen to and give opinions on many important contents, in which it agreed on the policy of building Dong Thai Industrial Park in Dien Chau district.
At the conference chaired by Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh - Secretary of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee - the Standing Committee of the Party Committee gave opinions on a number of key investment projects, including the project of exploiting and processing marble in Len Ke But 3 (Tan Ky), and agreed on the policy of establishing and constructing Dong Thai Industrial Park in Dien Dong and Dien Thai communes, Dien Chau district.
According to the proposal, the project is invested by IDC Industrial Development Investment Joint Stock Company with an area of 39.55 hectares, with a total capital of about 431.5 billion VND. The industrial cluster prioritizes attracting industries using high technology, clean and environmentally friendly such as: manufacturing electronic components, auto parts, new materials, medical equipment, agricultural - forestry - fishery processing, garment, logistics...
The investment implementation period is from the first quarter of 2027 to the end of the fourth quarter of 2028. The industrial cluster is expected to be operational from the first quarter of 2029, with a land use term of 50 years from the date of establishment.
The conference also gave opinions on the following contents: research on the planning of hydropower projects; the project of the North Central Innovation and Startup Center; developing working regulations and internal governance of specialized agencies under the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee.
In his concluding remarks, Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh requested relevant departments and branches to continue reviewing, completing documents and promptly implementing the next steps to ensure the project's progress, quality and compliance with regulations.
