The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just sent a document to the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security to seek appraisal opinions on the proposal to adjust the Urban Area Construction Investment Project to serve Thuan Thanh III Industrial Park - Sub-area B.
The province proposed that the two ministries determine whether the project is in an area that needs to ensure national defense and security. This is the basis for determining whether the project is licensed for sale to foreigners or not.
The investment project to build an urban area serving Thuan Thanh III Industrial Park - Sub-area B is located in Gia Dong ward, Thuan Thanh town, Bac Ninh province.
The project scale is 702,850.4 m2, including public works areas: Healthcare, education, administration (administrative headquarters, agencies and neighborhood cultural houses) and commercial service areas, offices.
The total estimated capital is more than 10,700 billion VND, proposed by Trung Quy - Bac Ninh Investment Joint Stock Company.
The urban area will operate for 50 years, with an implementation progress from 2025 to 2035.
The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province assigned the Department of Finance and the Military Command and the Provincial Police to provide records and documents, and work with the two ministries upon request.

Transport infrastructure in Bac Ninh is changing strongly. Gia Binh airport in Xuan Lai commune and Gia Binh town, Gia Binh district, Bac Ninh province has just started construction at the end of last year.
The Prime Minister agreed to upgrade the construction of Gia Binh airport to international scale, from level 3C to level 4E.
Hanoi City has also agreed on the plan to build a nearly 50km, 120m wide road connecting Gia Binh airport with the center of the capital.
