People in Dak Lak have not yet fully overcome the consequences after storm No. 13 passed.
A typical example is the Cu Mong lagoon area in Diem Truong village, Xuan Loc commune, where dead fish floated white on the water after the storm.
Small boats filled with dead fish were brought ashore by local people to destroy them.

Mr. To Van Hien (37 years old, Chanh Loc village) sadly said: "My family has 40 cages, each of which is expected to collect more than 3 quintals of fish, now all of them have died. The whole lagoon is just empty cages.
According to local people, the cause of fish deaths was due to large waves, the fish were rubbed into cages.
According to Mr. Hien, the thing that worries him most is not only the loss of white, but also the fish having to wait until March next year to be able to buy them for re- raising.
"I planned to sell these fish to prepare for Tet and buy for my wife and children, but now I have lost them all. Repairing cages also costs hundreds of millions, now I don't know where to get the money," said Mr. Hien.

In the same situation, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tich (36 years old, Diem Truong village) had 16 cages of fish, all of which were swept away by the storm.
"Now the raft repair costs more than 70 million. After the storm, the fish died in cages, while others torn their nets and floated out.
The fish were scratched while they were still alive, and within a few days they died, and if they were sold, they would lose money. The whole village is now discouraged when looking at the raft, Mr. Tich sadly said.
People said that before the storm made landfall, households had reinforced cages, but strong winds and strong waves caused most of the anchor system and raft frames to be blown off. Many households have not yet harvested fish because of low selling prices.
According to preliminary statistics, the entire Cu Mong lagoon area suffered more than 70% of output damage, estimated hundreds of tons of damaged schools, total damage of more than 11 billion VND.
Mr. Le Dong Quan, Chairman of Xuan Loc Commune People's Committee, said that the locality is continuing to count the damage to propose the province to support people in a timely manner.
At the same time, it mobilizes people to repair cages and restore production when the weather is stable again.
