On September 18, in Hong Kong (China), PNJ was the first and only Vietnamese enterprise to be honored in the "Social Empowerment" category at the JWA 2024 awards ceremony thanks to its pioneering and effective DE&I strategies.

As an international award honoring outstanding businesses in the field of high-end jewelry and jewellery worldwide, JWA 2024 with the theme of Sustainability focuses on honoring pioneering businesses implementing sustainable development strategies and social responsibility.

Accordingly, among hundreds of nominations from around the world, PNJ is proud to be the only Lifestyle retailer from Vietnam to be named in the "Social Empowerment" category thanks to its pioneering and effective DE&I strategies.

On the JWA website, the Organizing Committee stated: “PNJ has clearly demonstrated its commitment to building a diverse, fair and harmonious working environment. Not only is it a “leading” enterprise in the Lifestyle retail sector in Vietnam, PNJ is also a pioneer in CSR strategies with initiatives that create positive impacts for the community.”

Ms. Cao Thi Ngoc Dung - Chairwoman of PNJ Board of Directors - shared: “The award is not only a recognition of the persistent efforts of PNJ in creating a happy and fair working environment, but also a testament to the core values that we have always maintained over the past 36 years. At PNJ, people are always the most valuable asset, we are committed to continuing to maintain sustainable values in all our activities”.

Being honored in the “Social Empowerment” category is a clear demonstration of PNJ’s commitment to promoting gender equality, respecting diversity and human development - key elements in the “S” (social) pillar of the company’s ESG strategy.
